DISCOVER THE HEART OF MARYLAND'S CREATIVE COMMUNITY
SPECIAL RECOGNITION
A handmade creation - whether influenced by talent, by accident, through passion, or as a release to the world is considered by many to be a work of art or a form of prayer.
Vendor Members Group recognizes the goods (homemade brands) and the goodness (individuals) within our community.
The minimal effort it takes to strive for others.
The connections that bridge us.
The beating hearts that bind us.
The unrecognized goods and the goodness of artisans who place their heart into their brand should be celebrated.
When we elevate the positives in others, we rise by lifting others up
During a random drawing at each event, our participating members have an equal opportunity to receive the coveted "Featured Member" award. This month, Vendor Members Group randomly selected...

POSTHUMOUS RECOGNITION
It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart, we share the passing of our dear friends, Sue and Paula.
In devotion to God, Sue and Paula both adored their families, as medical professionals, were Veterans of Vendor Members Group, and served as our beloved friends.
Their supportive influence, modest spirit, and infectious smiles brought a sunny disposition to any outlook. Knowing what to say, when to take control of a situation, and how to add a good chuckle while always in the best interest of others.
Similar to the superior quality of their work, Sue and Paula's core justified a greater purpose. Vendor Members Group finds comfort in knowing their legacies will live on through their art (pictured) and how much they enriched the lives of others.
Thank you, Sue. Thank you, Paula.
For your joyful presence, kindness, and the time we shared with you.
For the blessings, engaging conversations, and endearing smiles you shared with us.
For your devotion and passion to God, family, colleagues, friends, and fellow artisans. You both will be deeply missed. You were truly one of a kind whom we loved.
Rest in peace, dear friends.
You've been welcomed home.
On behalf of Vendor Members Group, our heartfelt sentiment and love go out to the immediate Gobrecht family and church family on the sudden loss of Pastor Chris in December of 2023.
Pastor Chris was inspirational in fulfilling our vision at the current facility and location. We are grateful for his support of our local community engagement, for being a kind friend to each of us throughout the years, as well as allowing us to use your dedicated parking space during our events.
Pastor Chris, your smiles, sermons, hearty appetite, chess matches, hearty appetite, and presence during our events will be dearly missed.
The Rev. Chris Gobrecht, pastor of Timonium United Methodist Church, died unexpectedly Dec. 2 following a cardiac event. He was 58.
Condolences may be sent to his wife, Rebeca, at 2429 Chetwood Circle, Timonium, MD 21093-2533. A memorial service is planned for this Spring.
His unexpected death has shaken all those who loved him. His constant and profound witness to the love of God will stand as his legacy to The United Methodist Church
Chris Gobrecht served as a pastor at Grace UMC in Hampstead, Taylorsville UMC in Mt. Airy, New Covenant UMC in Cumberland and Timonium-Fairview in Timonium. He received a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, with an emphasis on appreciative inquiry and evangelism. His hobbies included chess, hiking, and softball. He and Rebecca have two grown daughters, Danielle and Alexandra.
A letter to the congregation, sharing the news of Rev. Gobrecht’s death, closed with words he had chosen for the previous Sunday’s benediction: "I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that has been given you in Christ Jesus … God is faithful."
Having received accreditation from the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, Vendor Members Group is extremely thankful for our continued partnership with Timonium United Methodist Church, as well as honored to have worked with the amazing 2021-2022 VMG Veterans who helped navigate our direction in the community.
